interesting thing is that it’s in our character we were the children of wrath !
I appreciate your observation. Usually, we don’t think about little children as “children of wrath” which humanly speaking is very normal. When we look at it from Biblical perspective we are painfully aware, especially as parents, that we are passing on to the next generation, to our own children, our selfish inclinations, and as Jesus said: “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying, ‘You must be born again.’ (Jn 3:6-7) and Paul confirms it: …flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 15:50).

In the light of what we were studying this morning in the SS. Lesson on the issue of the FALL, I was impressed to send a message of the key thought…
In the garden, the Devil, through the serpent, caused Eve (Adam) to fall in three steps:
1) Distrust God’s love: “ It was through Satan’s misrepresentation of God’s character that man was led to doubt the reality of his love, and came to look upon God as his enemy. As Satan had done in heaven, so he did on earth, — declared God’s government unjust, the restrictions of his law unnecessary, and bade man, as he had angels, to throw aside the yoke and let the dictates of their own nature be their only guide and law. He promised liberty; but as he himself is the servant of corruption, he brought the race into bondage, to sin, misery, and death. He represented God as claiming all and giving nothing, as requiring men’s service for his own glory, but denying himself nothing for man’s good. ” Signs of the times February 13, 1893
2) Disbelieve God’s word: once the devil has accomplished the first step, it was easier for him to get Eve into disbelieve God’s word.
3) Reject God’s authorithy: rebellion e disobedience became the natural result.
Now, God’s work of redemption through Jesus is to bring back mankind to LOVE God, to BELIEVE God’s word, and if we will come to that stage, we will accept His authority, doers of His law.

I am fascinated by Stephan Wallace’s lectures! And now I discovered here three more series that I would really like to listen to, because I see that they are in audio format, but I can’t understand them well, because I don’t have a good command of the English language. Are these three series – By One Man’s Disobedience, A Question of Glory and Authority and Restoration of the Whole Man – available in pdf format? It would mean a lot to me if they exist in pdf format, because then I could translate them in Google Translate. Thank you very much in advance!
