About Us

Stephen V. Wallace spent nearly 30 years traveling worldwide, teaching principles of Christian character development. Over time, his seminar expanded into 40 lessons—though the subject is far from exhaustive. Preparing the seminar required thousands of hours studying Scripture and the inspired writings of Ellen G. White. The final lesson leaves an open invitation: listeners are encouraged to continue studying and applying the principles of Christ-like virtue in their own lives and families.

Born and raised in Vietnam and the Philippines during the turbulent period between the French and Vietnamese wars, Stephen attended college in the United States, graduating from Pacific Union College in 1972. His roots run deep in Adventism. His great-grandfather was Ellen G. White’s gardener, while both his grandfather and father served as Seventh-day Adventist pastors. Shortly after serving as a youth and M.V. leader, he was called into the ministry and spent a year in seminary. Before focusing on gospel health reform, he taught at Loma Linda and Portland Academy. Among his notable accomplishments is helping to organize the religious folk group Take Three during his time at Pacific Union College in the early 1970s. Some of his seminars are available on American Christian Ministries, even those not featured on our website.

Sylvia and Ludo met in 2006 at Herghelia Medical Missionary School in Romania. The following year, during their honeymoon, they traveled to Oregon to connect with Revival Seminars Ministry and Pastor Wallace. What began as a brief visit blossomed into a long-term ministry, serving together with him and with Phil and Audine Dieters—affectionately called by them as “Pa” and “Ma.” By 2008, their team had launched this Revival Seminars website focused on Christian character development, which was entrusted fully to them in 2012.

Since then, they have prayerfully sought to make the site a blessing to many seeking the loving presence of Christ. From 2014 to 2017, they also served with Modern Manna Ministry in California. In 2017, they were called to help establish a new elementary school in Bisbee, Arizona, where they served during its formative years before moving on to new endeavors. Along the way in 2022, they founded Shepherd’s Touch, offering massage, sauna, health and character-building coaching. Ludo also teaches the Hebrew Alphabet through its original pictographic roots, revealing the beauty of God’s love in language.

When they married, Sylvia and Ludo asked God for many “spiritual children.” On their honeymoon alone, they distributed 150 copies of Steps to Christ. Today, their “baby” is this website, a ministry to share Pastor Wallace’s seminars as well as their own studies—all with the desire to touch hearts with God’s love. The picture below shows children from their church at Redwood City, CA, reflecting the motto of their lives: to nurture and guide others toward Christ.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you. Gal 4:19

We pray that you will find in our seminars and articles, rich spiritual food for your soul, on your journey to heaven.

Revelation 3:18-22 I counsel you to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne. 22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.
