    • The Old Rugged Cross
      • Scriptures“When it comes to see the “”old rugged cross”” and our SAVIOUR though the Scriptures – you might want to see via stories from the Old Testament or it’s description from the New Testament… Some people would tell you that the first reference to the cross can be found in: Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. This description is very obvious and right in the place where the sin started… Yet  GOD gave me to see that the cross of JESUS is hidden right in the very first first of the Bible!”

      • Behold or Experience the Cross?“Yes, by beholding we are changed and we are compelled: Hebrews 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Yet, there is a need of experiencing the suffering of Christ as Paul is writing: Colossians 1:24  Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body’s sake, which is the church Many people can’t see by faith JESUS as yet, but by beholding us to suffer for JESUS they will be changed and saved. For this reason in this category we want to keep adding stories outside of Scripture, which are bringing the cross alive through our own lives or the lives of those who accepted the cross and could make a lasting impact on others. I’m so overwhelmed by the change that’s taken place in me…. For so long, I’ve been the “good Adventist girl”, following all the rules but I never loved and worshipped the One that gave them to us. This weekend, between meetings with you and prayer on the mountain top with friends, I’ve come to truly accept Christ!
