Do you have children? Wake up! Don’t be silent and protect them.

If you have children, if you want to have children, if you have any care for society we are living in, I urge you, wake up and don’t be silent. Protest! How far can we go with such thinking? Are we stupefied completely? Dictionary says that “stupefied” means: make (someone) unable to think or feel properly. 

Who did that to us? Largely ourselves but in no small measure the ones who want to make big money on the expense of our children and us! We do it to ourselves primarily and shouldn’t even blame the big money makers. Their selfishness is not bigger than ours, they are just smart enough to use our own perverted appetite and passions and offer us cheap shortcuts to “pleasures for a season.” When we watch movies with aggressive or sensual scenes we are stupefying ourselves. When we eat food with hidden GMO or MSG or highly seasoned meals we stupefy ourselves. Where will this end up? This video below can help you to answer it for yourself:

After watching it if you are as shocked as me when I saw it – you have basically two options: go ahead and keep eating your junk food thinking, “Let’s eat and drink, tomorrow we will die anyway!” or you can ask yourself: what can I do about that?

By this video you can share with others how bad is the society, how far we got. Please, do that, share this post with as many as you can. But don’t remain just there! Complaining doesn’t help. Protesting at the right places, yes! But we need to search for solutions addressing the core of the matter. Otherwise we are simply treating the symptoms.

If you have any children under your influence, your own or in school or wherever, show them the better way by your own example. Quit soft drinks, learn to read labels and reject anything harmful, teach them to be selective. Instead of candy give them simple fruit. Yes, grandmas and aunties, I talk especially to you. But the bottom line is this: we all are sin-sick, selfish, deprived and even 10 day detox won’t change our selfish desires unless we come to Jesus and see where our selfishness leads. If Jesus would come today we would crucify Him again. Push Him away as we rush to our fast food or another late night dirty movie. You see, Calvary not only reveals the character of God, in the person of Jesus Christ – how far in His love for us He is willing to go – it reveals the character of man, in the person of those who are nailing Him to the cross. That’s us, that’s me on display, right there! Do you see yourself in that crowd there?

We can’t change ourselves but we can ask Jesus to give us new heart and wisdom how to cooperate with Him in this change and how to care for our tummies healthy way but especially how to give our children a better future. Signs of the Times, March 17, 1887: “We may have the peace which passeth understanding, but it will cost us battles with the powers of darkness, struggles severe against selfishness and,” what? “…inbred sin.” My, inbred sin. That is a most remarkable statement. Obviously my dear friends, there is a deeper dimension to sin than behavior or even character. Right? This is inbred sin.

What, pray tell, is inbred sin? It’s selfishness. Historical Sketches, page 138: “Selfishness is inwrought in our very being. It has come to us,” how? “…as an inheritance.” That’s inbred. Our children – by the law of heredity – are naturally, what? …selfish.

If we want our own children to learn how to overcome this terrible inclination, they need to see us, the grown ups, to see that we are resisting it ourselves. By beholding us they will become changed. When I found in my father’s drawer his porn magazines, it didn’t help me at all in pursuing purity, quite the opposite! We don’t give our children more than we are ourselves. That’s why we need so badly character building for ourselves before we can even start helping our own children.

Back to the video above: it repeatedly says what is genetic modification. Here is a definition from wikipedia: Genetic modification, is the direct manipulation of an organism’s genome using biotechnology. It is a set of technologies used to change the genetic makeup of cells, including the transfer of genes within and across species boundaries to produce improved or novel organisms.
