The Old Rugged Cross
Scriptures

This description is very obvious and right in the place where the sin started… Yet GOD gave me to see that the cross of JESUS is hidden right in the very first first of the Bible!”

Behold or Experience the Cross?
“Yes, by beholding we are changed and we are compelled: Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Yet, there is a need of experiencing the suffering of Christ as Paul is writing: Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body’s sake, which is the church Many people can’t see by faith JESUS as yet, but by beholding us to suffer for JESUS they will be changed and saved. For this reason in this category we want to keep adding stories outside of Scripture, which are bringing the cross alive through our own lives or the lives of those who accepted the cross and could make a lasting impact on others.
